“Huwezani na William Ruto” Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula dismisses Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna on his ambitions to defeat President William Ruto in the 2027 general election.
Savula said Sifuna has no agenda and lacks the capacity to run for presidency and defeat the current president. He asked him to stop daydreaming to be the president of the Republic of Kenya.
“Stop daydreaming that you will be the president .William Ruto will defeat you early in the morning,” Savula said.
Speaking in the Butere Constituency today during the launching of an electricity transformer, Savula said during Sifuna’s interview in one of the Kenyan media houses, he lacked ideas to tell Kenyans who were waiting to hear his declaration.
He revealed that he waited for long to watch Sifuna’s interview, only to be disappointed after allegedly hearing nothing good from him.The deputy governor questioned Sifuna’s deal with Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo, saying it is hot air that can not even shake the fly.
“I saw Sifuna meeting Kalonzo; that team is dead on arrival, and it will not succeed. The duo will be dismantled without any pity,” he said.
Savula added that President William Ruto is a hard-working president, unlike Edwin Sifuna, whose work is parroting and calling himself Sisi ndio Sifuna without tangible projects.
He alleged that projects that have been done in the country will automatically make William Ruto a two-term president. He asked the opposition to look for other jobs because in 2027 it will not be easy to beat William Ruto, as they may think. In addition, he called upon Mulembe leaders to unite and have a say so that negotiating powers may increase as they near the elections.
“As Mulembe Leaders, let’s unite so that our purchasing powers increase, we have numbers, and we must use them well,” he urged.
The event was graced by Butere Member of Parliament Tindi Mwale, who insisted on luhya unity, where he asked Mulembe Nation to back Wycliffe Oparanya as President William Ruto’s preferred running mate.He said Oparanya has the capacity to deputise the president, but without unity, the seat may go elsewhere.Mwale used the platform to ask other leaders who are in opposition to join them in broad-based government, saying there are many benefits.
“In 2027 elections we must be number two as Luhyas; we have numbers, but unity is the problem, and so let’s back William Ruto’s reelection for the benefit of our community,” Tindi Mwale urged.
However, the MP alleged that their broad-based relationship has yielded many developments in the region, including nominating him as the Member of Public Accounts Committee in the National Parliament.
The other projects that he outlined were electricity connections in every village and the extension of roads in western Kenya.Tindi Mwale said that he will not leave the government because he has seen the developments, asking the residents to elect William Ruto for the second time for them to continue benefiting.
