“We all know that Mugabe is the sole funder of goons in Likuyani. We call on him to stop misusing youths,” Shikuku alleged.
The MP aspirant expressed concern that young people could be drawn into activities that may expose them to arrests, injuries or other serious consequences.Shikuku further accused the MP of allegedly exploiting unemployed youths for political purposes, warning that such activities could threaten peace and security in the constituency.
His remarks come as political temperatures continue to rise in Likuyani ahead of the 2027 General Election, with aspiring leaders increasingly stepping up their campaigns and criticism of incumbent leaders.
Shikuku maintained that security agencies should act on the allegations and establish whether the claims have any basis. The accusations, however, remain unverified allegations made by Shikuku.
