Speaking today during the commissioning of newly constructed administration blocks at Ejinja and Mayoni Township Comprehensive Schools, Nabulindo urged parents to discourage their children from attending such events, saying reports of disorderly behaviour and insecurity at night required concerted action from the community and security agencies.

“I don’t want to hear disco matanga in my Constituency. We have reported so many cases of insecurity due to night discos,” Nabulindo said.
He called on security officers in Matungu to intensify night patrols and surveillance to deter crime and safeguard residents, while stressing that enforcement should be carried out within the law and with respect for the rights of members of the public.
“I call upon security officers to take action against anyone suspected of committing an offence and ensure that all arrests are made lawfully and in accordance with due process. We want all thieves to be in custody for peace to prevail,” Nabulindo said.
The MP was addressing teachers, parents, learners, education officials and security stakeholders from across Matungu during the commissioning of the two school facilities.

He urged parents, community leaders and security agencies to work together to protect young people and address activities that may expose them to crime or other social risks.
The newly commissioned facilities, constructed through the Matungu NG-CDF under Nabulindo’s patronage, are now in use and are expected to enhance administrative operations at the schools while providing a more conducive environment for teaching, learning and the wellbeing of learners.
